DESCRIPTION: Large, multi-specialty physician practice in lower Westchester County, NY, seeks seasoned Medical Billing Specialist for full-time position.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: cash and charge entry, claims correction, insurance follow up, patient collection calls, accurate setup and update of accounts. In addition, he/she must have 3+ years of hands on experience working with the entire claims cycle from input to payment and posses a thorough understanding of CPT and ICD coding interactions.
Additionally, the position requires organizational skills, the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills are required.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records and Physician Credentialing are a plus.
